Hello All!

I was sitting in front of the computer last night (needed break from pre Blade show craziness!) and going through the many excellent threads here. So many very good comments concerning my designs and of course the mammoth pre Blade show thread on the 560! As I looked through all the threads and seen all the people posting about these knives I soon felt this thread is a long time coming!
I want to thank ALL OF YOU for your support and overwhelming enthusiasm for my designs at Kershaw Knives and Zero Tolerance. Believe me it is truely humbling to see such support for the 550/551 and 560/561 and the new Cyro..I've put 25 years of knifemaking know how and design elements into these knives and countless hours designing and testing each design. When I finish with a knife I look at it and say "yea,I like!" but ultimately its up to you guys and gals to to get the same feelings about the knife that I did designing it and building it,and judgeing by those comment I think you did. And for that I humbly THANK YOU for voting for and supporting these knives with your pocketbook.

I also want to thank Thomas W for all of the hard work he has put in to getting these knives to market and for believing in my work. The best designs in the world would never make it to your hands without people like Thomas to grab the project and move it along. Also thanks go to Jim for working with me on the cad drawing and optimizing it for their manufacturing. There are a whole lot of other people at Kershaw I want to thank to like Craig (who I've known for a LONG time now!) But I just want to post it here as a thank you to everyone at Kershaw and Zero Tolerance. As I look to the future I will work tirelessly to continue to design tough,ergonomic,knives that the team can bring to the family of Kershaw/ZT owners!

You rock, Rick. We are delighted to have the KAI/Hinderer collaboration and it may be the most successful collaboration ever for me personally.

I hope this continues for a very long time . . .

Long time fan Rick, and thank you for this thread and all you and Kershaw do to help get these wonderful creations to us!
 
I think we are the ones that really need to thank you Rick for designing such wonderful pieces. And to Thomas W. and crew for producing them with all that goes into them. I personally have not gotten to aquire one yet due to certain circumstances, but I am looking forward to owning one and using it when I can. Your designs just look right to me, and look like they would be very good for any of my edc needs. Between the cryo the 560's and 550's I know i will have a hard time choosing (especially with all these pictures and stories)! So again THANK YOU Sir for the beautious designs. And here is to more in the future! Have a great blade show, wish i could go!

Thanks to Rick and Thomas for these cutting tools. Keep designing and manufacturing excellent knives.
 
Hopefully one day I will be lucky enough to own a XM, love the designs, the zt collaboration seems like a perfect match also great work !

I'm new to this community, and read this thinking "Holy crap...it's really Rick Hinderer..." Woot!

I love the Hinderer designs so much. Much love.
 
Thanks for your affordable designs via the ZT line Rick. Don't be afraid to "dream a little bigger" in the future ;)
 
i really do enjoy seeing posts like this. it is not often you see guys like Rick and Thomas taking time out of their day to interact with the customers who love their products. i got my first ZT/H knife (0550) a week ago and simply can't put it down, i have probably opened it 1000+ times in the last 6 days. if there were orange scales available for the 056X, i would order one of them right now. i will definitely be getting one eventually anyway, but orange is really good at opening my wallet! ;)

I've yet to own one of your collabs/XMs but I know just from seeing/holding them I will own a couple someday..Especially since the affordable Cyro is coming out. Keep up the amazing work, its folks like you and Thomas and businesses like KAI that keep me knife crazy..
