A Heavier Endura

Rather than put a heavyweight model on a diet, I'd like to see a lightweight model go on a strength/bulk plan. Who would be interested in seeing an Endura with the build of a Chinook II (liners, lock, 4mm blade, the works)?

Oops, did I just describe the Manix? (I didn't go to Blade Show, so I might have.)

Hi Berzerker, thanx for the input. The Manix is pretty close to what you are asking for but the shape of the blade is more like the Temperance.

Gotta count me out on this one. One thing I love about the Delica/Endura line is their thinner blades and light weight. The thin blades make for better cutting (which is what I use my knives for :p ) and the light weight makes for EDC capability.

Hi Sal:

OhBoy!OhBoy!OhBoy!

That's even better. I have a Lil' Temperance PE Leaf, and I love that blade shape. Please, make the Manix fully ambi in terms of any handle sculpting, and the clip.

Any thoughts on when this might see the shelves?

Best regards.

This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but there is a heavier Endura - the stainless steel handled version (if you can live with an AUS6 blade). The steel handled Police model also appears similar, with a bit longer blade (4 1/8 inches) of VG10 steel.

I too would like to see another heavy folder. I like the shape of the Endura but I wish that it was more "stout" like the Chinnok. Any pics of the Manix?
