Took a hike to Eky's Peak with my girlfriend and dog here in Duluth. It is the highest point in the area, and is quite a rocky climb.

It got pretty hot out there, so we had frequent hydration breaks for the dog.

We found an old railroad tunnel out there that was apparently used for the local quarry. Built in 1911, and the tracks were torn out in the 1980's.

It is a pretty cool area, I definitely recommend it.

Thanks for looking!

Awesome. Thanks for the pics. Reminds me I need to get a couples sheaths. Oh and a dog.

I love that dangler sheath of yours. I really want some damn factory micarta for my BK16 and then I'm sure I would use it more. I just don't like the feel of the plastic grips... so the ESEE 4 fills the role that would possibly be taken by the BK16 and the 16 stays attached to my MOAB 10 pack...

Once we get some micarta, I'll definitely be looking at getting one of those tweener sheaths from you.
