So some of you may remember Stomper's anniversery knife design contest (here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=737531). I was fortunate enough to win with my design.

On July 4th, one of the fellas here, Rotte, held a contest (here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=754210). I was very lucky and I guessed the right battle.

I received both knives on the SAME DAY in July. Two awesome FREE knives on the same day? It was sweet. The JK knife also came with a really super nice sheath from Noah at Wasteland Leatherwork. I didn't have a chance to get out with them for a few weeks, but here, finally, are some pictures from a hike I took with both of them.

I used the JK Anniversery Knife on the way in, and the Chris Reeves Shadow IV on the way back.

Looks like a great place and a good time in the woods with a couple of very nice blades.

Great looking knives. I liked that design from the minute I saw it! Great pics too.
As someone who has recieved a few knives from folks on this forum, I'd like to say thanks to all who make this such a great community. This really is a great place to hang out and talk about sharp things!

Wow...lucky you  The JK looks sweet ! That CRK always catches my eye...how does it perform? You pics are nice & it looks like a great place to hike !

Congrats on your awesome prizes. The Shadow has always been my favorite CRK pattern. Nice job on your winning JK knife design too. Oh yeah, that looks like a sweet hiking spot.

The more I look at the JK Knife the more I like it. Especially the thumb ramp.

That is a great looking JK knife and sheath. Nice CRK too, but nothing is the same as getting your own design put to life ;)

That JK looks beefy. Looks like the handle is super-comfy, too. The sheath is GORGEOUS! I own a Shadow IV. Bought it while in Alaska back in 97. I absolutely love it. If you haven't already considered it, I would recommend sending in A COPY of the certificate of authenticity/guarantee card to Chris Reeve Knives and register with them. Probably a good idea since, as you probably already know, the "One Piece Concept Knives" are no longer produced.
