This Roosevelt was taken into Norway back in 1929 and has had the same owner driving this wonderfull car, all years from 1929 to 1981.
Engine is a 201 cui. straight eight.

Beautiful collector grade car.

I'll take a straight eight...and for under a grand (well under). :D

cool pics.

You have Marmon's in Scandinavia too ?

**edited** because think I was misunderstood.
Talking about the car, not my religion.

Cool old car, I really like old cars and rare different than normal old cars.

Love the car! Can you imagine the cost and complication of getting that car there back in the day? =)

Man, that's beautiful...
And the car's not bad either! ;) :D:D lol

Thanks for the pix! The condition of that car...just wow. Looks immaculate, a real classic beauty. :)

That's fantastic ! My father had a car when he was a youngster and called it a " baby Marmon " He couldn't remember any other name and couldn't find anyone who knew . Shortly after his death I saw one in a museum in New Jersey ! This had to be the one but it was the Roosevelt model. Marmon has an interesting history including the winner of thr first Indy 500 IIRC. in their racing cars they used large amounts of the
now "new metal "LOL . They were one of the car makers who made large cars but into the '20s they realized they needed a wider selection so they came out with the 8 rather than 12 cylinder. Thanks for the photos !

The museum I saw it is the "Space Museum" in Sussex County NJ.It has nothing to do with space but contains old cars , tools, artifacts of American Indians and other interesting items .

A unique feature was the horn --push ,the horn sounds -twist, turns on/off headlights - pull up ,it's the starter !!
My brother reminded me that our father said it wasn't a good car !

That definitely is a beauty of a car! I always love seeing classics that look that clean! Thanks for sharing.
