Well,
That is what Jerry was kind enough to call it anyway!
I have been bugging Jerry and hanging out at his shop latley and one of his Bird and Trout knives caught my eye. I have been squirrel hunting over Christmas (Killing time waiting to ship out to Central America!) and my A.G. Russel Woodswalker just has not been quite the trick. So, I talked to Jerry and asked if he would have these at Vegas . . . no dice!;) (Pardon the pun!) Then, I asked if he would sell me the blade and let me finish it . . . he kindly agreed with understandable concern since the blade already had his name on it!
When I picked it up he also gave me the pins and some spacer material so I tried to do a good job of selecting some nice Ironwood for scales and finished it with Jerry's reputation in mind!;)
Here is what I ended up with . . . Jerry even gave his blessing for me to post these!:D :D
(He has been a great guy and a HUGE help!)

Jason, I'm proud to have my name on that blade. You did a great job, but after seeing what you did with those folder kits I'm not surprised.

The spot near the thong hole on the second pic is the shadow from a blade of grass . . . OOPS!
You guys are a great encouragement . . . now to wait till I get my grinder out of the crate in Nicaragua!!

:D :D :D

Beautiful knife, with a beautiful handle too! You should be very proud.

Jason,
Most excellent, nice job!! Taking any orders yet? From the looks of this one I'd be proud to have a page in your book :D
Stay Safe,
Clyde

It would be my honor and priviledge to allow that to be used as a Scalpel on my body anyday. Gorgeous work Jason...wolf

Mo,
The grinder is an old burr king 2x72 and it is packed in a 213c.f. crate sitting in a warehouse in Atlanta with the rest of our "shippable" belongings! We won't see them for a year! In the mean time we will just have the luggage we carry!!

Wow!... You know Jason, you're causing a lot of us to expect big things from you as you somehow find the time.

You're doing a great job with these pieces you've put your hands to work on :)

Nick

BTW-are you going to be in Nicaragua,or are you gonna make it to Blade show this year?
