Medicevan was a man kind enough to send me a very nice easy open jack after i started a thread about getting my first traditional knife. Thanks for this wonderful knife, holding it I feel like I'm holding a piece of history and of kindness, as you requested it will be gifted to someone else who will need it some day. On a side note i will be away for long of this forum which i love ,if you didn't know a train exploded in Quebec killing many people in lac mégantic. Being a decontamination technician i will be there working all day long for the next weeks trying to stop the petrol from contaminating the soil and trying to give back the people their town. I will bring this knife along with me to help restore order in the chaos my co-citizen are living. May the victims rest in peace and thanks again for the knife medicevan!

Heres the beauty

Definitely a beauty, WW2 era might be Camillus or Utica. I pray you will succeed in your important mission and return safely.

Be careful doing your work. It looks like a horrible accident.
Congrats on the knife. I'm sure it will be with you in good times and bad.

Nick, be careful out there. You glow-worm guys have my respect. Not my cup of tea. Glad to see the knife made it to you. Sorry it took so long, stuff got crazy around here. It will be a good knife for you. Sharpens to a razor edge, so be careful.

It is a 1936-1952 Inperial. Wonderful knife, one that I thought at one time would be "the knife."

Good luck out there Nick.

God keep and protect you and the other responders, the victims and their families.

My prayers for the victims and their families. Such a terrible tragedy.

A very nice gesture from Medicman - and a wonderful knife to have, use and cherish.

Good luck, Nick...

best

Prayers and well-wishes to all.

Very nice gift! I hope to find such a knife out in the wild one of these days.

That's a tough job to do. Stay safe...

My thoughts are with those involved with this catastrophe. It's terribly sad to hear about.

Stay safe up there Nick. The work you do is tough enough, I hope you are able to achieve what you need to do in good time.

Well done on the knife sirs.

Wow, I hadn't heard a word about that. It looks terrible from the cnn link.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, the victims and families in that town tonight.

I have a large amount of family in Quebec surly some are effected by this or know someone who is in someway. Its a nice knife you got there, I hope it serves you well in your efforts! as a Canadian with french Canadian roots i say "monsieur de sorte de vitesse d'un dieu" translates : god speed kind sir! . Hope you and everyone else working on this disaster can get it under wraps sooner then later! take care and stay safe!

Just listening to the report of the tragedy on the BBC radio. Very sorry to hear about the fatalities. Hope the clean-up is successful, and good luck in doing a vital job, to you and your colleagues.

Good luck and stay safe, Nick. Thanks for jumping in and helping with what looks like a very important job.
