Hey everybody,
I'm sure you all remember the awesome Tube Topper Popper Giveaway. As it turns out I am one of the lucky winners of a brand new GEC which arrived in the mail today :) :D
And what a GEC it is: While opening the package I half expected a TC Barlow, I mean this is Charlie we are talking about ;), but imagine my surprise when I pull out of the tube serial #2 of a gorgeous Northfield burnt stag #74 Wharncliffe Trapper. Thank You Charlie!!!

I'd say the pictures speak for themselves, I mean look at that thing:

And the best part: Look at that beautiful pile side

Together with the 2012 BF knife, which might be slightly jealous :)

Thank you so much Charlie, it was a really fun giveaway to follow and watch everyone's creativity.
Now who might be the other lucky person?

Look at the stag on that knife! Some of the nicest I've seen on a production piece. Congrats.

Thanks again for your generosity Charlie. You give so much to this forum, we're all very lucky to have you.

WOW, Sweet knife, Like if I can find one, it will be mine, nice! You are one lucky dude. I have been impressed with GEC's stag recently (and my bank account proves it), but that is by far the nicest I have seen. Now I just need to find one (Charlie, if you have hint, please PM me:D)! Steven

That sure is a nice one. Congrats! And way to Charlie for sponsoring the contest. Kinda regret not entering now.

Wow! That's a beaut! Very nice gesture on Charlie's part. That's some of the nicest stag I've seen in a while.

Woohoo... that´s the big hit! I really like that stag - in combination with the wharnecliffe blade it´s a great great.

I´m sure, you´ll love that wonderful pice of craftmanship (art?) - however - it will make a great tool in any way!

I don't know how I missed Charlie's cool contest, but I see that the competition was very stiff!

Thank you guys and gals for all the kind words.

I´m sure, you´ll love that wonderful pice of craftmanship (art?) - however - it will make a great tool in any way!

It will probably have to wait a bit longer until it cuts acidic stuff, but I definitely intend to carry it. It's too nice to be left at home. :)

Gifted knives are sweet, yes?

Indeed. You just instantly have some special connection to it, which other "ordinary" knives have to earn first.

That was an awesome contest, one of the best I've seen here.

He speaks the truth. It was incredible to see everyone's interpretation of basically a simple stick. :D
