I wanted to publicly thank Joe Houser for all that he has done for me ,not just this time, but every time i've ever had a problem with my knives ,Joe has always made sure i was taken care of and treated like a friend, not just a customer.

I recently sent some knives in which were not all warranty repair, and got them back this morning ,the knives i sent in were :

2 dot 110
110 AG stag
regular 110 with broken blade
880 strider with loose lock.

Today i checked the mailbox and they were here,Now this is the best part, all of my knives look brand new,RAZOR sharp edges, and Joe even had my old 880 Rebuilt and its like new in every way.The cost was NOTHING,which i think should have cost me for shipping both ways and a blade that i broke ,my own fault.

The Buck Knives company is a stand alone company with awesome employees and the best knives made in the world today,no other company cares about their customers like that, and thats why i will always be a loyal Buck customer, their values are the same as when they started this business,And in this day and age thats just about impossible for any company.

I feel more proud to own Buck knives than ever.thanks Joe and to all the employees at Buck Knives that make this stuff happen,we as customers apprechiate all the hard work you do to build these fine knives!

Joe likes to archery elk hunt, if anyone has a hot spot, just think, having Joe to talk knives with and hunt elk with for several days........think about it. I would be calling him if I had a good situation.

Kudos to the best customer service in the world......bar none.

And that's a fact.

It's a bit amazing how much a secret this is. I blew my circle of hunting friends away with the spa treatment my 112 got a while back. These guys had no idea you could get that kind of service on a knife. They all own a Buck of one flavor or another and simply had no idea what was available to them as far as breathing new life into an old knife.

Just got a 2 Dot 110 this week back from the spa. Best $6.95 I have ever spent and in only a 5 week turnaround.

I've heard lots of great stories like this since joining the forums and its made me happy that Buck just happened to be my knife of choice to begin with. I've never sent one in, but its nice to know they will make things right when needed. A big thanks goes out to Joe and Buck, even though I havent had to get a blade fixed up.

Have to add to this, never got a chance to say thank you in public, just an email to the company. I "damaged" a Buck-Strider collaboration a couple of years ago, my fault no question, should not have been covered under any warranty. I called them, told them what honestly happened, & if they could fix it. Was told to box the knife up & send it to them, they would take a look, and let me know. The following week (6 day turn around) I got the knife back, and I swear they sent me a new one. Razor sharp, blade polished, new grips, etc. I called to make sure this was not a mistake, was told it was my original knife I sent them. I told Beth there was no invoice in the box & inquired as to how much the labor & parts were. She said the work done was n/c. Right then I knew Buck Knives had made a customer for life.

"...got them back..all of my knives look brand new,RAZOR sharp edges,..."
- RAZORBLADES

sure does makes one feel guilty about have to put them back into service again...
