A knife I'll be taking to the Badger Knife Club show in Janesville, Wisconsin next week.
It's been a pretty tough go of it for a while.
Without going into a lot of detail, I burned off the membrane in the eye that covers the cornea. I was totally blind for a while in that eye. Pain level of 10 on a 1-10 scale. Poor sleep. A protective contact. So, not much knife work got done.
Luckily, the eye tissues are the fastest healing tissues in the body.
Still not healed, but I managed to get this done.
A W1 blade with natural hamon and fabulous African Blackwood handle material.
See ya' in Wisconsin!

Karl, that's a beauty!

I sure hope you will make a complete recovery.

Awesome looking knife for a one eyed guy, or anybody for that matter. ;)

Great look'n hunter Karl! :) That Blackwood with your handle shaping is sure eye catching/pretty.

Sure hope your eye heals completely and quickly! I've had a few mishaps like that, and it's sure scary. I'm glad to hear you're on the way back to 100%!
