I had a couple people ask me to make knives for them and gave me only the words, "hunting knife" to go by.

Here is the first one. I made it according to the size and shape of knife I like to use for General hunting use.

The initial feedback I got when I delivered this one today was very good, so I may do a few more of this type to see if they will sell.

It is 1084 and about 8 inches long. The handle is...well I don't know lol a nice piece of red wood.

What do you like in a hunting knife?

Here is something kinda funny. The guy who Received the knife put a very nice post on facebook, HOWEVER, the way he worded the post makes it ALMOST sound like I am his Valentine. It caused some funny responses.

Depends on what you mean by hunting. For skinning, this looks fantastic, but if you want to finish off a boar, I'd opt for something a little longer and pointier. Hunting knife means different things to different people.
