A hunting knife I recently finished.

Here’s one I finished up this morning. It has a 4 inch blade made from 8670 high carbon steel. The scales are black walnut finished with Watco teak oil. This is my fifth knife since I started back in November.

Looks way better than the first knife I made. Stick to following reading all the threads here. Search newbie threads. Your work will improve. Keep your first knife so you can look back to how much you improved! Congrats.

Next time bring your primary bevel up quite a bit higher. Take a look at how high a bevel goes on a loveless drop point, for example.
