Well the hunting part turned out to be a big fat bust! But any time in the High Sierras is always a good time. Kill or no kill! This trip happened a couple of weeks ago but I wanted to get some pics up before I completely forgot about doing it. We headed down toward Fresno, then up to about 5,000 feet to Kings River Canyon. We had bear and deer tags, got there on opening day, and someone (had to be the liberals!) let all the deer and bear know we were coming. Nothing...not even Bambi was anywhere to be seen. Oh well maybe next time. Still had a great time with a bunch of good friends, and the weather couldn't have been better. Here's some pics...enjoy!

Nice pics Sol.

Headed down to the same area in about a week and a half.

One river north, on the Pine Flat Reservoir, my Reserve unit is going to the field. I think we'll only be around 2500 ft though.

I'm taking my Ripper if I get my Spec-Ops sheath before that...:D

Just kidding... Ever notice how, when you catch a fish, it's always "Nice Fish". Kinda like pics :D But seriously, awesome pics and you're lucky to be out having fun :cool:

Hey, didn't anyone notice the swedge on the SHII? Did you add that yourself? If so how?
