Hi guys, I need your help,

I have a knife I believe belonged to my great-grandfather. It is a small, slipjoint, mother-of-pearl, gentleman's pocketknife. On the blade it says:

A.J. Jordan
St. Louis
8

Anybody know anthing??

Thanks

Don't know anything about them, but got this from Levines Guide to Knives and Their Values.

(A)ndrew (J)ackson Jordan. Trademarks: AAA1, Adolphus, Old Faithful. Also owned Twentieth Century Cutlery Co.; agent of Friedman & Lauterjung. Company located in St. Louis, MO. Knives made in Germany and England. The firm was a wholesaler and manufacture from 1870 until 1926.

thanks Keith,

my great grandfather lived in St. Loius, so that makes sense. Glad to know something.

Nathan
