My new mailbox is magical a couple of days ago I opened it up and there was a priority mail box from Brooklyn. Seeing the address I knew my friend mrknife mrknife was up to his old tricks. I quickly carried it into my apartment, opened it and out rolled a Tidioute tube with a new #78 American Jack inside. Single spear point covered with beautiful Cocobolo handles and like almost all GEC knives near perfect F&F. Also enclosed with the knife was a note that simply said,
"Hey Randy,
Welcome back to the Porch!
Your friend
Jack"
Now I have heard of house warming gifts many times but this was the first time I ever heard of a Porch warming gift. :D
Anyway thank you ever so much Jack my friend you made my week simply put you are one of the absolute best.

That is a beaut, Randy! Love that cocobolo! The single blade 78s have proven to be an elegant, timeless run of knives. GEC hit it out of the park with the cover materials. I think the cocobolo and smooth white bone will go down as all time greats!

A wonderful gift; way to go, Jack!
