I recently acquired a Fikes JH from a good friend. This is not new, as in mint, but in very good shape. Honestly, I've waited years for one of these and I'm thrilled.
On top of that good fortune a knifemaker named Robert Washburn contacted me and is living a few miles away. Seems he knows Don Fogg and Jimmy so I took the JH out for a visit. Robert had already started making his version and called it a FogCutter. I stopped back over the weekend and took a couple of terrible pictures. We'll do this again in the near future.
Robert's is a bit smaller and lighter with a more ergonomic grip. Jimmy's is a big blade with a wide handle, maybe too much for my small hands.
Robert is a transplanted southerner and the only JS that I know of in Utah. I'm impressed by his talent, from forging to stock removal to making his own blue jeans Micarta. I especially like his Japanese inspired blades, probably an area he should explore a bit more. Bet there'd be a nice market for affordable forged blades like his.
Any way, a few pictures.

My JH, 31" OAL with a 16" blade:
Robert's next to Jimmy's:
Robert showing the edge to me, very good balance at the forward end:
A nice Tanto, bamboo, etched blade in 15N20 (I think):
