a) Kershaw is a fantastic company. I had a Double Cross that had sloppy lock-up. I took it back, got another with the same problem. I gave it to a person who wasn't as picky (read: he'll use the knife and never notice the looseness). I wrote Kershaw, just sharing my opinion about how the knife could be improved - and I'm no expert. I just shared my observations about the liner lock. About a month later I got a answer saying Kershaw was improving the knife, addressing my exact comments. Plus, I was asked for my address and in 3 weeks received a new Double Cross! I was just offering comments, not complaining, and Kershaw had the wherewithal to send me a replacement. I've never heard of this type of dedication and service. Kudos!
b) Slip joints look cool, but I like my knives to lock. The Double Cross (and larger Double Duty) fit the bill perfectly. Now that Kershaw has tricked the lock, I have the perfect "pocket knife.:
c) If you can't tell, I'm stoked! This little knife is "shooper shweet," Kershaw is a great company and I just wanted to share.
