I found a small key-chain like tool kit with wrench in it, which fits exactly on strider and Hinderer folders. They both cost 75 US dollars each. I have a MX-18 folder, but 75dollars is pretty expensive for only a wrench. Do you think they are worth buying? Anormal hex and torx wrench works just fine. right?

If I understand your question correctly, you are saying you found a torx wrench that costs US$75 that will fit in your folders?

If that is so, then yes that seems way too expensive. In the US you can find a kit that fits all the normal torx sizes used in knives for about US$6. So you could order about ten of them for the same price as your one $75 kit.

Here is a thread about the kit: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=328142

ryosuke, actually I make those tool kits that you are referring to..there is more to those kits than just a allan wrench. The kit incorporates a spanner wrench for the spanner slot in the pivot as well as a properly fitted screw slot in the XM model and a allan key for the Strider model. It also has fitted inside a 1/4 in standard hex bit that you can change out. This bit will fit the handle scale screws. Its made out of heat treated 17-4 ph stainless and is cnc made. There actually is alot of machining in these....so , these are not just a allen wrench...haha here is a pic!
