A key-chain like tool kit

I just recieved this tool kit made for Hinderer Mx-18. It came with a hex wrench instead of a torx wrench. My MX-18 has torx screws. not hex screws. Anybody knows why? Is it ok to use the hex wrench on a torx screw?

uhh no. you need a torx tool

Ahh, you've got one of the earlier XM-18's when I used torx instead of the allen screws that I use now...but know problem..all you need to do is go down to the hardware store and pick up a 1/4 drive hex bit in T-8 and you'll be good to go. That is why i designed the tool so that youcan enterchange the bits for different size and styles of handle screws..I hope this helps!
