HI Khukri is WITHDRAWN. Thanks for looking.

The CS is SPF

That leaves the Himalayan 18-inch World War II Khukri. The blade is a little discolored from chopping maple and alder limbs one afternoon. But otherwise, it's perfect. I never used the small knives -- one of which is a field steel (to steel the edge). Both these little knives fit in the sheath. It's a really popular model and a powerful chopper. Price is now $89 plus $10 for shipping Priority Mail plus confirmation.

Two khukris for $99 plus $10 for shipping. Both have been used a couple of times. The Himalayan is the 18-inch (total length) WWII khukri, the company's third most popular knife. Included sheath and two accessory knives. I paid $145 plus shipping for this. The second is a Cold Steel make of Carbon V steel with leather sheath. This is a second, but I can't see any reason for it. I don't remember what I paid for it.

This is a nice set because you get a heavy-duty chopper (the HI is 5/16th inch at spine) and a lighter chopper with a good high-carbon steel. It's also a great deal if you plan to use these, because they will look exactly like they are after you've used them a couple of times. Both are still very sharp. A couple chips in the blade coating on the CS. A very small roll on edge of the HI.

I'll send these Priority Mail with confimation. No overseas sales on this because I'm afraid of sending to big blades like this through customs.

First "I'll take it" followed with prompt PayPal payment gets it. Post here for questions. PM me for my PayPal address or give me your email if you can't PM.

Dont be afraid to send big blades like these to Canada, they are perfectly legal here, as they are classified as machetes by Canada Customs, and as such they are not illegal. Other countries may be different, i can only speak for Canada.

Thanks, Bushman. I like to support foreign members of the forum. And I just sent two knives to Canada, but it was a pain. Plus, customs stole a knife from me that was returning from Canada. But unless I know the knife laws, it's just too much risk for khukris. These are big blades.

fair enough. I can FULLY understand the hesitation.

Good Luck on the sale, thats a WICKED price for a set of Kurks!:cool:

Hey Bush: If you're interested, I'll try to work something out with you. Let me know.

I don't remember what I paid for the Cold Steel. How about $15 plus $10 for shipping by Priority Mail and confirmation. I just sent something that size that way and it cost $10.58 to mail. If I go any lower on the price, it's not worth the effort to drive to town to mail.

Cold Steel. How about $15 plus $10 for shipping by Priority Mail
I'll take this one. Send me your address and I'll put a USPS money order in the mail this morning. Please email me at work - wchittum@bontex.com

Hey William (fishiker): Email sent. The Cold Steel is yours pending payment.

William.M: You're backup on the Cold Steel.

Man, I really thought the twofer would go fast at that price. I must be missing something -- always a safe bet.

would you be willing to split? kinda interested in the CS

I'm sorry, Nsaglibene. You said "kinda interested." I didn't realize that you were making an offer. Not much I can do about it. The CS is sold and shipped. I'll give you a discount on the HI, if you'd like that. It's a much better Khukri than the CS.

: ( thanks for the offer though, I had been looking for one of those CS LTC Kukris they don't make them anymore

I don't know what kind of wood HI used for the handles. When you order, you get a choice of horn or wood. I chose wood.

Here's the company's description of the WWII model:

The workhorse of the Gurkas during WWII, this model saw service in both Europe and Pacific theaters. Our number three best seller, this is probably the best combination of weapon and tool that can be had. This khukuri is the favorite of many Bando practitioners. If you try it you will quickly fall in love with it. This 18 inch model is 3/8+ inch thick and will weigh in at about 2 pounds give or take a little depending on the kami who make it. Sometimes horn handle, sometimes wood. Great knife
