A Khukuri from Corn Patch

Personalization of my stuff is high on the priority list and my kuks just happened to be on that list. In order to be different, the grips on said objects have been customized. Khukuri handles have rings sawn into them, but they do not go all the way around on the panawal models, so I thought it'd be cool to make them do just that. Here are three pics for your consideration. Ye handle.

Very nice! I tend to do the same-I always seem to be sanding down khuk hilts, and when I put the rings back in I use a 1/8" (i think, maybe 3/32") round file instead of the sawcuts.image.jpg
It looks really nice on a chiruwa.
 
Just enlarged your photo for my bleary eyes and must admit it do look nice. Will try your technique on the next one. Thanks for sharing.
 
Nice job Bookie! I was wanting to do that on my Baby Chiruwa AK just havent got around to it yet.
