Here she is all dressed up:

She now has black G-10 scales, with maple inserts. Sporting a convex edge and very close to mirror polish (we will fix that with some EDC use very soon.) The work was done by David Wesner, a great guy who makes GREAT knives of his own.

I'm very pleased with this one. She's VERY pretty now, but I meant this one to be used -- so we'll see how she looks after she's been put to work :thumbup:

Sorry for the crappy pics, raining cats and dogs here right now...

That is a beautiful knife.
The Maple looks great with the G10...is it Birdseye? Curly?
Make sure to post some pictures after you dirty her up a bit.

Nice work - she looks very pretty all dressed up - This is my kind of user!!

Birdseye

Thanks for the compliments. David kept the handles real thin, per my request -- for a comfortable IWB carry.

Very very nice! I like it a whole lot. That satin looks almost DC at a angle on the 2nd pic.

Dats a killah B, yo! ;)

Seeing the handle unwrapped, you wonder if the shop coulda slapped some Res-C on them B's. Seems pretty close to the look of a Basic under the handle.

Very nice, do you intend to use it on anything special or just general use?

I think this one will just be in the EDC rotation. Maybe I can send my poor beater LrMS LE in to the shop for a spa treatment...

Ban, it's almost mirrored, i just couldn't get any pics to some out... BTW, pm sent.

Dennis,

yeah, i never thoght of putting res-c on it, but it sure looks like you could. I'm glad I went with the G-10. I originally talked to someone about doing a professional wrap job in custom colors, but this turned out better than that could have -- just more my style.

thanks for all the compliments. :D
