A kinder, gentler RAT forum

Seems like a lot of people getting hypersensitive to some of our forum posts. Personally, I'm an equal opportunity operator when it comes to making fun of anyone and anything, including myself. But with that said, some folks take things way too serious instead of letting it roll off their back. Once that happens, everything starts going down hill and it turns into a pecker measuring contest that becomes a childish debate with both sides looking dumber and dumber each time they open their mouth. Hell, some of our wild threads with some of the craziest posts have more intellect in them than the posts I have seen in anger recently. This forum is about having fun, being able to poke at each other, offer differing opinions, then everyone going away as friends. We have a lot of intelligent people here. Sadly, we have a lot of people here that wear their emotions on their sleeve. So, I'm going to ask the moderators to monitor these threads a little more and shut them down once the children start throwing food. Welcome to the new kinder gentler, Obama nation forum. It plain sucks, IMO, but reading the posts with people going back and forth in anger, instead of intellect, makes the whole RAT forum look like a bunch of dumbasses.
