  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

my sister-in-law visited us from Japan, she brought me this knife. Made by Tsunahiro Yamamura from Kamakura, 24th generation of the family Masamune, a family that made Samurai swords, but thought I'd post some pics if anybody wanted to comment.

I tried a Bladeforums search, through Google, and didn't find much info on "Masamune" or "Tsunahiro Yamamura"

The other item in the photo is something called a kabutowari (kabuto-helmet and wari-breaker), she found it at a Japanese flea market.

here's a link to my sister-in-laws website, she has a picture of Tsunahiro Yamamura at work.
