A knife for my best friend's wedding

So my best friend is getting married and his fiancee asked me for some ideas as to what to get him as a wedding present. He likes knives almost as much as I do, so I suggested that it might be nice to get him a nice gentleman's/edc knife with an engraving on it. I guess when I made the suggestion I had a mental image of a Sebenza or something like it. As far as budget, I'm not sure exactly how much she wants to spend, but for the sake of reason, as far under $200 as possible.

So yeah, any suggestions?

Maybe a Bradley Alias or something from Mcusta? They are pretty gentlemanly like and under 200. There is also a popular retailer in LA that has a sale on Lone Wolf knives.

I no longer have it, but I thought the composite-blade Leek was a nice gentleman's knife with a good SS surface to engrave. I've seen them for about $55.

Here's what the blade looks like:

Spyderco Gayle Bradley, Benchmade 943, Al Mar Ultralight, Mcusta, Kershaw Shallot Damascus.

Check out Enzo Birk. It's very nice, elegant, well made, and only around $100. Other knives people mentioned here are nice, but not many people have an Enzo. It will set him apart.

Oo, excellent suggestions, thanks guys! Those Mcusta knives are gorgeous! I don't think I can recommend those because I'd be too jealous =P. Kidding, I think he'd love one of those. Thanks everyone for suggestions, I've got more than a few new entries in my own shopping list.

Now I just have to figure out how to get it engraved. I suppose the best place would be the handle. Anyone ever gotten a knife engraved?

I've had a few BMs engraved from KnifeWorks. They have been engraved on the blade and they do an excellent job.

Perhaps a G-10 Dragon Fly or a Spyderco Kopa. Both are great gentleman's style folders. Both well under 200 dollars. (the G-10 Dragonfly can be found in $70-$80 range)

I know your talking folders, but,I bought one of my buddies a RC4(RAT),when he got married. He was quite pleased with it.

Yeah I'm looking at folders. We're in Maryland so it's illegal to carry a fixed blade, and I want him to be able to take it around with him and use it if need be. Kinda defeats the point of having the knife if it never gets used, no?
