A knife for my lady...

I recently posted a thread about what knife to buy and i am still torn on whether to buy an endura or a sage one and i found great deals on both so i could get both for 140 usd.(not a bad deal for brand new) Shortly before i purchased them, my girl came up to me and asked me to find her a good knife that isn't too big. Big blades don't scare her, but girls have small-ish pockets etc...... what do? Do i play the selfish card and use my blade budget on myself or should i only get the endura and buy her something? Ideas on what to get her? Sub 45 bucks? I'm sadly open to other brands than spyderco. Is Byrd any good?
 
I'd take a look at some of the China made Spyderco's. Take a look at the Ambitious, its in the price range you mention, and it should be lady-hand size friendly. No reason to leave the web just because you are on a budget.
 
the ambitious in blue g10 looks pretty good! I totally forgot about the value line of stuff from Spyderco. I'm glad that i don't have to look to low grade stuff to give her because no one likes to give crap away as a gift :) and rec. on endura color: blue or green
 
I got my wife a Pink Delica. One of the big internet stores had it. It was a sprint run or a dealer specific run.
 
How about a frn dragonfly? Small, light weigh, and vg10....might have to bump it up $50 (shipping)

You may want to look at the Dragonfly Tattoo and the Ladybug Tattoo. They have SS handles with color paintings of the bug that the knife is named after. I got one for my wife and one for may daughter this Christmas and they both love them. Neither is large, and they are 'Pretty' too :)

If she's a pink kind of a lady, look at Kershaw Scallion or Leek. My daughter loves the pink Leek. Spyderco wise, I'd look at the Ladybug and maybe the Kiwi. Good luck.
 
Delica is a great knife for a lady. There is also a pink native.
 
Spyderco Blue Ambitious or Purple Ladybug.
Get the Sage 1 for you and the Ambitious or Ladybug for her.
All for under $140.
 
Given away a few different Spydercos to women. Wife is a lefty and prefers back locks so she has a couple of Delicas (pink and 2 black ones) and an Ocelot. My sister is right handed and uses a carbon fiber Cat. The CF Cat is discoed, but the G10 version is available and reasonably priced.
 
I bought my wife a Dragonfly many years ago. Maybe 5 years ago my daughter wanted a knife and I was thinking she would want something like a Dragonfly too, but she picked out a black/black mini-Griptilian.

I think a dragonfly or a delica would be a good knife for a lady.
 
Limited run pink dragonfly 2 shows up every once in awhile. Picked up one via the auction site about a month ago for around $70 shipped.
 
My girlfriend loves her Delica. I would aslo suggest the Dragon Fly or Cricket depending on lots of variables haha.
