I can hear the snick of fifteen hundred dollar damascuss steel blades leaving their sheaths as I write this.
Be assured I do not mean it literally . My Favourite knife is the Kukuri. You don,t get much more exotic than that . At least I don,t want to for the moment . I wish to get a handle on that masterful blade before I move on .
Another of my favourites is the Seax . That in its basic design can be not much more than a basic everyday tool with the possibility of its having dispute settling capabilities .
I love that simple angular point . Its sleek almost overlong length . Those couple of extra inches will stand it in good stead when you want to drive your point home with a belligerent debater .
I hope one day to own one . I even made a crude one out of hickory . Is this aseaxual behavior ? Do I have blade envy ?
I know that seax is good for me . I hope one day to have seax .
