Thanks Guys,
Very few people I know in my day to day life appreciate knives and the skill to use them effectively for the task at hand. Do you think this connection, affection, or focus is "healthy"? I'm a health care professional and curious on responses to non blade people when intereacting with them. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Congratulations, and happy birthday Silver!

Responses to non-knife people? The best thing you cvan do is don't let them get to you, and be yourself. Arnold Schwartzenegger talked about bodybuilding and people who think it is strange on the "Pumping Iron" documentary. He said that a lot of people look at body building and think it is strange, but he thinks that aperson trying to go 1/4 mile in 6 seconds in a car is strange. Everyone's got their thing, and most of them aren't dangerous or unhealthy really. Knives are just strange to people, that is all. Buy the simple SAK's as gifts and give them to these people and often they learn right away how useful a knife is (they sure open packages better than keys) and they're hooked.

Thanks Crayola,
Your point is well taken. I'm not sure about what "SAK's are but I know what you mean about giving people an edge to deal with "ADL's".:D

"Nothing says love like a sharp knife" :) Congrats on the birthday...sounds like you scored well.

- Mark

P.S. SAK is for Swiss Army Knife. You know, we really should have a list of acronyms around this place!
