a large bowie named The Bone Collector

This is a piece I have had in mind for a while and then it was commissioned by a fellow forum member so here it is!!
The blade is 12" of forged 1095 with and antique finish and forge texture, the guard is wrought iron and is caved into the shape of a bone, the handle is a piece of aged cow bone that was found in the woods by a friend of mine and has some spectacular things going on with it when looked at first hand, OAL is 17" and Scott Roush provided the great photo.

Hello John!

The Bone Collector is another amazing piece my friend! I just realized you had allready posted it to the forums after seeing it in the Bowie 2015 thread, so I am late to the party...

I can't thank you enough for your friendship and your great pieces! Much more than appreciated! I will take some closeups of the bone handle and add it to the thread later on.
