Same proportions, 3.95" blade. Thoughts?

I dont have my first one yet but I love the way this looks and think it will make an excellent all around knife. I am not a neck knife fan, doesnt really work in the fire/ems/heavy equipment world.

I just traded into one of these. I've been wanting one for a while. Dan has a great eye for aesthetic design but this one just speaks to me for some reason. I love the ergonomics of it.

I know it would seem a redundancy to make one in the same size range as the bushcraft model but the simple and open design of this one lends itself to a greater variety of hand holds and a more precise level of control. The blade profile is a proven design; plenty of straight edge, enough belly, and a centerline spear point. I think the tip is plenty pointy.

The knife enlarged to the dimensions I'm talking about, it would cease to be a neck knife. It would be roughly 8.5" OAL with a 4.6" handle.

I like the idea of the bigger version of this knife even though I've never handled the original..
