I am left handed and have a Dalton mini cupid. the cocking level rumbs the inside of my left hand. I like the knfe except for this. Has any lefty filed it down? A right handed person would not have thought of this. The level would be just as easy to pull back at half the size. I wasn't sure where to post this. There is no lefty's forum. Somebody let me know so I can buy another. The price is high, but I wanted a low number.http://www.bladeauction.com/os/itemhtml/ht511231.shtml?511231

Rick,

Just wanted to mention that the 2nd release of the mini-Cupids should be available very soon (this week or next week from what I've heard). The expected price is in the $90-125 ballpark.

Hi Mark, I know. I can't wait and would like a low serial number. Thanks for saying this so others know. Being a lefty are you going to get one? What do you think about reducing the size of the cocking lever?

So is this going to be your carry knife? I honestly think you have a pretty good idea. It's not like you are going to lose your arse if you make a mistake. Go for it and let us know how it works out.

Now if you start filing on a DSII...That's a different story all together.

Good Luck,

Giz

Giz, just something to play with. This isn't a real knife. I dont want to do the work. I want to pay someone to do it. It is easy to recock and could be less than half the size. I would like it done right. Mybe a little file work.
Thanks for responding. AGAIN!
