anybody knows if this is legal? my mom sent me some videos she recorded off the tv set of kickboxing matches from thailand. i been making my friends copies, but i would like to sell them. can i do that? or do i have to get permission, because i wont.

Generally no. You can't sell them legally. I'd suggest contacting both the broadcast station and the film maker for permission. They may want a cut but are more likely to just say no.
