I started out with the intent to make a nice camp knife, finished up my post-HT grind and proceeded to check whether or not my edge was stable (like I do on every knife)
Lo and behold, chopping into some mahogany revealed a flaw.
Something tells me that the front bit was a tad soft.
So anyways, I tested the rest of the edge and it held up phenomenally. Thus it was salvaged into this.
And this, kiddies, is why you always test you knives before you finish them. Good luck, and happy heat treating to you all.
