A light comparable to Quark Mini 123?

Hey folks. So my EDC light is a 4Sevens Quark Mini 123. I really love this light, and I want a backup for it because I have thought I have lost it two times before (found it eventually both times). I feel kind of silly just buying a duplicate of the light I already have, I'd rather expand and try a different brand or something. So, that said, anyone know of another light that has the following features:

Powered by 1 CR123 Battery
High mode that goes upwards of 150 lumens
At least two modes, low and high. I can live without medium or SOS or Beacon modes but strobe would be nice too.
Not much bigger than the CR123 that powers it
Twisty UI (less little parts to break)
Tough enough to ride around in the pockets every day, get banged around, occasionally get wet
Under $80.00

Thanks.

Mini X 123, it's even better! :)

Could look at Olight i1XM-L , similar to Mini

That one looks really cool, do you own one? Is it pretty thick or about the same as Qmini123? Thanks for the tip!

Yes, I own one. I've had it less than a week but have been impressed. It is very small, not much wider than the battery. The direct access to moon mode and side switch are two of my favorite features. The magnetic bottom is also useful. I put it on my handgun safe each night and do not have to worry about knocking it over (with the resulting thud and roll which awakes the rest of the house) or being blinded when a kid falls out of the bed. I'm running a rechargeable RCR123 with good results. I highly recommend the light for its genre.

I second the Olight S10. I've been carrying around a prototype for months and love it.

If you want to stick with a twisty, the FS Mini ML-X is a lot of fun. I prefer floody type beams anyway and that one is super floody.

An inexpensive twisty is the Olight i1. They make it in stainless as well if you prefer lights that have a little heft.

check out the Fenix E15

...also have a look at Zebralight. No twist, but interesting little lights. I recently ordered one based on reviews.

Peak led solutions model logan. Tough as nails, bright as hell, made in the USA. It has infinite ramping but its kinda quirky so its basically low and high. Pm me if you want the details on where to buy 'em. I usually back up my 123 lights with an AA or AAA. Have you considered a nice keychain AAA light?

I hope so - your podcast recommendation is why I purchased it from your shop! As I said above, it was a good recommendation.

When ever I ask for a recommendation I hope to get at least 1 good suggestion and usually end up with a half dozen new things I want to buy.

Thanks for the great recommendations guys!

I do the same, I keep a Fenix LD12 (1 AA) in my EDC bag and a Nanolight Streamlight on my keychain. Lights are one of the most important items to be repetitious with IMO, sounds like you have the same mindset :)

If you have not gotten a 4Sevens Preon 2 penlight (192 or 160 lumens), I would highly suggest it. I rarely ever carry another flashlight on my person since I got one.

Don't overlook the Quark123 with the tail switch. It's been extremely rugged, and the low lumen moon glow setting is awesome when you just need a little momentary light but don't want to lose all night vision.

Bingo! That looks like exactly what I was looking for size/battery/mode wise, I can forgive the clicky in lieu of twisty. Thanks dude!

Too bad I'll have to wait a bit because until more gear money frees up since I had a few beers last night and clicked the Buy Now button on a Streamlight Microstream just so I could have an AAA light in my bag :) Trying to diversify the kinds of batteries I can use in an emergency by keeping one each of flashlights that use AA, AAA, and CR123 in my EDC bag.
