So for awhile ive been on the hunt for a dsf black on black or the actual dssf. My question is with a taco sheath will it fit a large spec ops sheath? Just want to know this before i get both and it dont fit? Thanks in advance!!
 
You want to take a taco sheath and put it in a spec ops? If that's what you want, I think that should work but you'd most likely want to make the taco sheath specifically for that purpose.
 
First pointer for all reading, Desert Storm Fighter DSF is the regular tan canvas version, the Desert Storm Stealth Fighter DSSF is the black/black one. :)

Second, the kydex guys can usually make the sheath to your request, just ask them if they can do what you want and it will save you possible headaches. There were some who made the kydex sheath liners specifically for spec ops. ;)
 
Sweet so it will work! Ill get knife and spec ops sheath and send it all to maker! Shazaam!!!

Also just curious i always thought the black on black with no logo meant its dssf? Or can it have a logo and still be dssf?

I've never seen one with the logo, they were a limited ganza offering as the Stealth version, sterile black coating with black G10.

Some makers keep a relatively large inventory on hand for sheath making. Buy Brown keeps a decent molding collection, might try Dave first.
 
My DSSF has no logo, nor have I seen any photo of one that does...;-)
 
I know the DSSF will fit the long spec ops sheath. As far as swapping the liner in the specops sheath out with something else I'm not sure about that. Why not just take out the liner and mold it to the DSSF?
 
^i know very little as to what would be best for this. I trust opinion on people that know what there talkin about before i make a mistake
