The Spyderco Phoenix is a beautiful knife and I had the pleasure of helping someone restore and enhance theirs.
I played with this knife for a few weeks. I must say it's one of those weird looking knives that just grows on you and before you know it you love that knife. Like a lot of other spydercos. I'd really love to see Spyderco revisit this knife in a sprint run or some other capacity.

Enjoy the pictures! (New scales and sanded the scratches out of the metal liners. )

Sweet work! I've contemplated swapping out the white micarta on mine for either CF or wood from time to time

Beautiful job Eric...! The CTEK was a stellar choice...! Nicely executed restoration...!

I sold my Phoenix years ago, but i would never sell it, if it would look like yours.
Great job.

Knife looks better with those scales than the originals...by far. Also fits the name of the knife better. Looks awesome!

Wow, that is a fantastic looking knife!! I had no idea those existed, so thanks for the pics, awesome work by the way.

I'm in the same boat here. I've never seen or heard of a Phoenix. That said, I'm kind of new. Still, beautiful knife.

Ive been a huge spyderco fan for many many years and I still find out new old knives lol Dont worry Spyderco will always surprise you and keep you on your toes in the best of ways! One of my favorite companies! I'd personally love to work w/ Sal and Eric and all the rest of the gang over there! Please Colorado is one of my favorite places
