I got an order in for a factory second 7/7 last week. There hasn't been much chatter about them here, which is surprising. I am going to need some Pics, reviews and anecdotes to get me through the wait. I got green canvas with tumbled hardware... anyone got a pic of one in that flavor?

That was the one single Survive! knife I wasn't super excited about then Mr. OBX351 had to go and convert me. I ordered one last week also, I think camo canvas if I remember right.

I'm not much help other than posting some of my favorite pics from Google. These aren't mine, but they look great!

Damn! Howd I miss those seconds

I think this will be the ideal knife for winter "hot tent" backpacking. Light enough to carry into the mountains and great for processing firewood into a size that fits the wood stove (with the help of a saw of course). I ordered mine 03/2015. I hope I will have it next winter season. ;)

Yes!!

Damn that thing looks like it powered right through some seasoned knotted up oak!

Yes it did and the blade had no damage, just a few rolls that I was able to strop out. It's now back to razor sharp. I believe it took about 10 to 15 minutes to bring it back to razor sharp with no snagging and another 10 to get the shadow of the rolls out.

Yes it did and it was the old 3v, which is still very tough. Here hare the after pics. Very little rolling and no damage. I was able to get it back to shaving sharp with a strop.

Did you re-profile the edge?
