Okay so after searching unsuccessfully for a 941, I finally "settled" for a 943. She just came in the mail earlier this week. It's true I really wanted the green handle scales (along with the satin finished clip-point) of the 941 but apparently nobody in the universe wants to part with theirs.
Anyway, the 943 actually suprised me when I first took her out of the box. It really does look better in person. The black aluminum scales make the blade stand out alot. Stunning really. I love how the scales actually have some grip to them too. The grinds on the S30V clip-point blade are perfect as well. There is a teeny tiny bit of lateral blade play (even after adjusting the pivot while maintaining smooth action) but I've never been one to be overly concerned about a little blade play. Besides, this will not be a work knife; it will be worn for casual affairs only. "Light duty" is the name of the game with this one. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the 943 so far.
Well here's a little porn as promised. The last photo shown with my 707 Sequel. While I think the 707 is a great knife, it never gets pocket time because the ergonomics just don't agree with me. A little too small of a handle for my hands I think.
