Yes, yes I do. I have been looking forward to this time of year and this knife since I was sweating my @$$ off in the 115 degree heat indexes and 100% humidity in the south Florida swamps! I love it when the hickory nuts, pecans, and walnuts start falling and the chill is in the air. Glad you enjoyed the post.

Some very cool pics, Brian. I love fall weather too. At 8 am this morning, it was 40 degress out. It was a great time to head down to the river and walk in the woods with Kelly Girl for a early morning walk. Then off to the shop and work on some knives. By Noon it was in the 60s and still nice and sunny. so after lunch I deicded to head back to the woods for a little woods time. It was just a great day to be alive and roaming in the woods.

I hear you on the hot humid weather. We get our share here in East Texas as well.
Fall is here and Deer season starts in the morning.Life is good. That knife is all you.
just the size I see you using.

I like the fall weather for the looks, sadly, all the leaves here are pretty much off of the trees. The high winds earlier in the week didn't really help.

Thanks for the pics. I'll need to make it down to TN in the fall sometime instead of always heading down in the spring time.

Sorry I was slow to respond guys, this has been a somber week for me, hence the no words in this thread. My father had recently passed away, and his remains arrived earlier in the week. I was tasked with honoring his request of returning him to the earth and it took a couple of days to sort out how I was going to go about that. He loved it here in these hills but hadn't been able to stand the cold of the winters here in a long time after his accident at work that severely damaged three vertebrae back in 1978. The cold brought him more pain than he could deal with. He had lived in south Florida since the early 80s, but wanted to be returned to the hills and river here upon his death. So, on the first day of November, surrounded by all of the brilliant colors of autumn with the sun glistening on the river and under a cloudless azure blue sky I returned my father to the earth at one of our favorite fishing holes from my childhood. It was a beautiful that he would have enjoyed tremendously.

Thanks Bryan. This is my favorite time of year to roam the woods.

Yep, I love it when autumn comes and brings the cooler temps. I love the design of the Yuma and the size is about as close to perfect for me as it gets. Big enough to do pretty much anything I really need to do, and small enough not freak out the sheeple on the trails in local wooded parks.

You should head down to Gatlinburg and the Smokies one fall, it's beautiful.

Great Photos Broheim

Thanks Doc, glad you enjoyed them.

Really amazing shots. The butterfly shots are awesome, especially.

Thank you Yuji, I'm glad you liked the post. This area is a temperate rain forest with LOTS of different flowers. The vast amounts of pollen gets annoying at times but the myriad butterflies and bees that are drawn to them make fun photography subjects.

My friend, those are lovely. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Rocky, I'm glad you enjoyed them.
