However you spell buttoning anyway!!

Here's a couple pics of the TGLB being put to work. Did this load this morning with just the baton and the TGLB.

That TGLB is getting some work in!

Have you been sharpening it between use? How’s that edge holding up?

The wedding gemini shows just a little less wear on the coating than the beater one.
Did you baton the cake hard? ;)

There were actually several different TGLB's that were made. Some came with a very deep hollow grind and a wider cut fuller. These weigh in around 15 ounces (give or take a few tenths of an ounce.

The others came in a little under 16 ounces and had a little less pronounced hollow grind and a more narrow fuller.

The tips on the lighter TGLB is a little less substantial. So even though my "Wedding Gemini" (which is a lighter Gemini) has held up perfect without any signs of damage, I really wanted to be able to thump on a TGLB without any worries what so ever. So the one pictured below the Wedding Gemini comes in at about 15.8 ounces but has a much thicker tip and narrower fuller and less pronounced hollow grind.

When you tip test them, you can actually feel the difference. Not that the "Wedding Gemini" can't stand up to anything I throw at it but I KNOW the "Beater Gemini" will!!

Plus......it was used for the Wedding, so there is sentimental value attached to it.
