I took the opportunity to combine a BCUSA Bushclass outing with a little Becker use today.

Used the BK9 to section up a bit of fallen Scots Pine and used the BK11 for fire prep for a hobo stove, making shavings of fatwood etc aswell as gutting a rabbit my Terrier Eddie caught ...after much digging around .
Must add a set of scales for the necker to my wish list, para cord and blood = :barf:

Really like both knives . The necker is handy but the BK9 is definitely my favourite so far :D

I also took along an old British MOD knife as I heard in a Y-T vid Ethan Becker say that it was a source of a bit of inspiration for his knives.
I reground this one as they come with an edge like a cold chisel.

Awesome, nice thread. Looks like fun. What kinda scales are you looking for?

Hi,
Thanks, really like the look of just the plain brown canvas micarta ones to be honest. I did think about trying to make up some myself but haven't got around to it yet. Not anywhere over hear that stocks them you see.

Great pics Bro and it looks like you had a good time out. Excuse me but I believe ther might be something wrong with your pet rabbit... :foot::o

Cool pics. Great little stove ya got there, and great score from your pup! I hope Eddie got his share of the meat too! ;) Oh yeah, nice little stock of blades for your trip!

"Rest In Pot"...thats priceless!

Looked like a fine outing, I'm anxious for the weather to improve a lil bit so i can get outdoors more.

Is Eddie a JRT?

The necker is handy but the BK9 is definitely my favourite so far :D

There's just something about the 9 that just screams BADASS!

Thanks for sharing.

Eddies a rescue dog so I'm not too sure definitely a high percentage Jack Russell but I think there's a wee bit of Beagle in there.

Bk9... Badass ...for-sure..:)

Great pics, thanks for sharing. Dig those sheaths buddy! That's a great lil companion there too, great job fetching that bunny for lunch.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I personally like the taste of rabbit, but they usually taste just like chicken. Rarely do they have any other flavor around here.

Very very cool. Thanks for posting. your sheaths look great as well, very functional. thats a good dog too. mine just craps in the house and eats the rug.
