Hi guys,

This is a Red Ronin chisel ground model going to knifemaker Jeff Mutz at TruGrit.

3/16" ATS 34 with a 5.75" blade and 10 5/8" OAL.

The Habaki is hammered copper with a patina as well as the Menuki.

Thanks for looking :)

Nice one, Adam.

Thanks Rolf,

People do seem to like the Red,

When I took it to new owner he had a friend at the shop and he ordered one as well :D

Is the top grind traditional, Adam? To my untrained eye, it looks a bit strange. The handle treatment is very nice!

Hi David,

That is the morning lighting.

It has a nice swedge but the lighting would not cooperate :grumpy:

You might be able to see it better here

Here is a little better pict showing the swedge.

I told Pohan years ago that the Japanese blades did not have a swedge but some of the different spines that were used gave that appearance.

My only tradition is doing what I want :)

This style of blade I make my inspiration is Phill Hartsfield and he gets the credit for planting the seed so many years ago.

For Bowies I am inspired by DE Henry and my hunters it is Chubby Hueske, Corbet Sigmond and Loveless.

I do it my way but with a respectful nod to these giants.

You are a noble man, Adam.
Thank you for making me two wonderful knives.
