A Little BK10 Firecraft

Took a few minutes at deer camp to run my BK10 through a little fire making. Scrounged some loose cedar bark from a tree near camp, kicked a little chunk of pine off a nearby stump, and was off to the races. First I balled up the cedar, and made a little nest to hold the fatwood. Then scraped off a nice little heap of pine with the blade, and added just a few shavings to keep it going a little longer. 2nd strike and I had flames. Best of all my 5 yr old nephew thought it was the cats pajamas.

Very cool. Used the new BK10. Where did you strike on the edge? Or did you use the spine?

Used the swedge, and it laid out a nice shower of sparks.
