Got one yet?

Sadly, no.... No yet. Nice choice in scales though!

Shoot... I don't even have a BK2. :(

Beautiful pic! I'm likin' how the clear coat is wearing on it. That might have just sold me on it…

Nice lighting work :).

Also, as a burgeoning photographer myself, what gear did you use to take it? Is that just a flashlight, or did you do use an off camera light? Did you do much post processing?

And I'm calling shenanigans, BK32's come with green handles, not blue :p/

Thanks, my son took the picture and it's what he does for a living. He posted how it was shot on his facebook page... "Shot with three Profoto B1 airs (10 degree grids), polarizer, and 3 stop ND as a storm rolled in." He pretty much gets the image in camera. Those handles are true blue. Kabar sells pink, blue, red and green in a set.

Well, tell him nice work :). The ND filter and the flashes explain the look I'm seeing. Getting things right in the camera isn't easy, especially with the ND filters and multiple off camera lights. I haven't delved into lighting at all yet, as I'm still trying to wrangle natural light .

And I know the handles are that color, I was meaning its not an out of the box BK32 (unless we can get them with any color handle scales). Just ribbing you a little bit :).

Really though, looks great.

Beautiful pic of the BK32! I have one and you helped in the decision to get one tradewater. I wanted a 2 but thought the 32 would be a good choice from basic black. But I was having trouble warming up to the big logo across the blade till I read your comments in a older thread which basically said think of it as your knife wearing a t-shirt. That settled it and one was ordered posthaste. I really do like it. the logo doesnt bother me like I thought it would. You be a good enabler trade!

Fabulous photo................your son is very talented. I'd love to have such a mastery of photography or graphic arts.
