A Little Black Ash Burl Shank Action In The Kitchen

My neighbor bought me some fresh eggs. It had been a while since I had actual fresh eggs, so I thought I'd make an omlet I was right, the shank is a great small food prep knife.

End result, a ham and cheese omlet, and some cracked wheat toast with orange marmalade

Me too! This was my breakfast this morning, and I am glad I used the Shank, after the news I got today, it looks like I am going to have to sell a few more things, and this may be one of them sadly. I waited on this one for a long time, and damn it's just gorgeous!

I was already considering a ham omelet tomorrow morning - leftover Easter ham is out of this world. This settles it.
Maybe I'll bring out the Bushie and the camera. Though in the morning I'm usually just hungry.

Thanks man. Yeah, actually it was Captain Kangaroo reading the Paddington story many years ago that made me want to try the orange marmalade and I have loved it since early childhood
