Started off by stabbing the TGLB through some sheet metal

Then followed it up with a couple chops and a little batoning into sheet metal


Tip and edge after that


Then I chopped some cedar, made a little feather stick and a stake

Nem, great pics Bro and is that cedar you are chopping on??? I remember my days down in Texas sharpening chainsaw blades often cause cedar is hard on the edge of anything. Built a few old school cedar and barbwire fences in 71-73. Days of being a teenager.

Yes sir, it is cedar! Thanks for the compliment! You're right it's hard stuff and you can't beat the aroma of a piece of cedar heart. Makes for a nice camp fire as well. I had plenty of branches laying around where I limbed the trees up

Thanks cobalt, it seems do pretty well despite its lighter weight. It has to be a chopper for now until I get true chopper. I have found that the TGLB is a Jack of all trades while not a master of some of them because of its fighting knife roots, but most fighting knives couldn't take this abuse either

Very true. In my opinion a fighter still needs to able to function as a field knife as well since utility task will arise more often than knife fights. But the edge retention is what amazes me! Metal on metal with no chips
