Started off by stabbing the TGLB through some sheet metal

Then followed it up with a couple chops and a little batoning into sheet metal

Tip and edge after that

Then I chopped some cedar, made a little feather stick and a stake

Glamour shot

And of course it wouldn't be a busse if it couldn't pop a couple hairs after some abuse

Question answered, just the fun stuff now

Nem, great pics Bro and is that cedar you are chopping on??? I remember my days down in Texas sharpening chainsaw blades often cause cedar is hard on the edge of anything. Built a few old school cedar and barbwire fences in 71-73. Days of being a teenager:rolleyes:.

Yes sir, it is cedar! Thanks for the compliment! You're right it's hard stuff and you can't beat the aroma of a piece of cedar heart. Makes for a nice camp fire as well. I had plenty of branches laying around where I limbed the trees up

To be inducted, be faithful and journey to Blade in ATL...watch for the post here for Induction Dinner info. as Blade '16 approaches.

Beautiful blade. Looks like it chops well for a non chopper

Nice work! A cedar knot can be some tough stuff to pound a knife through.

Thanks cobalt, it seems do pretty well despite its lighter weight. It has to be a chopper for now until I get true chopper. I have found that the TGLB is a Jack of all trades while not a master of some of them because of its fighting knife roots, but most fighting knives couldn't take this abuse either

Just think most other brands of fighting knives are safe queens

Very true. In my opinion a fighter still needs to able to function as a field knife as well since utility task will arise more often than knife fights. But the edge retention is what amazes me! Metal on metal with no chips

This right here is called "a good day in the life of a TGLB!"

Sorry for the photo bomb, I like feeding my Busse and Kin on occasion as well.

Absolutely nothing there to apologize for firestrike, thanks for sharing. Could you tell me more about your TGLB sheath please?
