My self-waved FRN Cara Cara has been my go-to folder for almost three (maybe four?) years. Ever since a month after they came out. Thought I'd share some photos of this well-made tool.

That looks very cool, and I say that despite not having liked other self-made waved Spydercos.

I love Byrd knives. My G10 Cara Car is one of my favorites. It puts up with a beating. I've been considering getting one of the smaller Byrds for edc though.

The byrd Cara Cara was one of the knives given away at this year's Martial Blade Camp (thanks to Spyderco's generosity). We had 40+ hard-core knife geeks from all over the U.S., Canada, and even a player from Japan. Everyone was blown away by the quality and performance of the Cara Cara.

I personally think it--and the entire byrd line--are the best choice for cops, EMTs, and anyone else who wants a reliable, high-performance knife but can't or won't spend much money.

Stay safe,

Mike
