A little Christmas luck finding a Sharpmaker!

Hello my fellow forumites,

I was looking for a Spyderco Sharpmaker for the last few weeks. I happened across the GIJoes webstore and saw it listed for $9.99 I did a double take and thought what the hell and placed an order. I kept thinking that I would get a return e-mail stating that there was an error on the price. However the product was shipped at that price, (less that $15.00 with shipping) and arrived new in its blister pack. I did notice that the item was pulled from there website the day after I placed my order so I could not pass the info along to the rest of you.

So I am really happy with the deal and give a nod to the folks at Gijoes for backing a price on there site. And I have an old Case sodbuster I was very mean to as a kid that I will be learning to sharpen with.

 Wow! What a steal! I wish I had seen that before buying mine from Bass Pro for $40 some odd dollars. BTW, it is the model 204 with the brown and white ceramic stones, and the instructional video correct?

Yes, This is the 204 that comes with the video and the whole kit. That is why I did the double take when I saw the price and ordered right away. Right place at the right time I guess :)

I am sorry guys,

As I said they pulled the item the very next day. They must have caught the error. Since the price was too good to be true I only ordered one. I was almost certain they would e-mail me back and state a price correction, or I would have ordered half a dozen. So it was a one time thing I guess...

P.S. I just checked again and the Sharpmaker is still not listed. They must have pulled it permanently.

Maybe it was on a blow-out clearance. Last one, buy it cheap type thing. Either way, nice deal. I would have bought one for that price too.

IMO, the Sharpmaker is a steal at 40 dollars. But man you are lucky!!!!
Happy Holidays,
Matt

Wowww! Now that is a true GIFT...lol. Great price! About a year ago I got three of the 204 set-ups for gifts and found 'em for $27.99 each and thought I was in heaven. Yours has to be the best price in history!
