Hey Everyone. . .
So here is a project that I started about a year ago. At the time I didn't really know what I was starting. In the beginning it started with Lee Williams, Jeremy Marsh, and Tashi Bharucha. Then from there the project just kept growing and growing, with no end in sight. Below you will see some of the collaborations thus far, with many more makers coming on board.
For those of you that haven't heard of the Cyclops. It's pretty much self defense jewelry. You wear it as a necklace, but when you grab it and peel it off, the blade opens and locks, then the knife disengages from the necklace.
What's interesting about the Cyclops is that the front can look like anything. Which makes it such a great collaboration piece. I do all the internal machining to the ring for the lock and hardware, then leave the front blank. So the other maker gets a blank canvas to work with. Each maker receives 3 rings to play with.
