A Little EDC Fun

I stopped by EMS yesterday and picked up some paracord. I wanted to make a lanyard attachment to dress up my EDC a bit. Well, at 20 cents per foot, I decided to pick up 20 feet of the stuff. When I finally got around to making the lanyard attachment, I got a little creative and wrapped the skeletonized handles. All I did was pull the center out of the cord and wrap both sides; then melt the butt ends together. The belt clip was a little too tight afterwards, so I placed some shim stock spacers under the clip.

Okay. Call me a guy with way too much time on my hands.

Pretty cool if you ask me. I, too, planned to make a little "tail" for my three EDC's as well. BTW, does anyone know what the original measurements of the Ralph EDC are, eh? Maybe when I get that raise I will splurge on a custom or a MADDMAX.

paranoid9999,
Mine is the CF version, but I assume the measurements are the same (Darrel is also making a 4" version).

Blade length: 3.5"
Handle length: 4.5"
OAL: 8" (naturally

)
Haven't weighed it, but "very light" comes to mind.

Thanks OwenM,

My Camilus/Ralph EDC has a 2.95" blade. So, I guess the collaboration piece is a little "mini".
